Canine Bowen Therapy

Help your dog move, feel, and live better — naturally.

At Bowen Synergy, we know that dogs are more than pets — they’re family. Whether your dog is an energetic agility competitor, a loyal working partner, or a cherished couch companion, they deserve the best possible care.

That’s why we offer gentle, effective Bowen Therapy tailored specifically to your dog’s needs. This natural, non-invasive approach supports their physical health, emotional wellbeing, and quality of life.

Dogs of all ages and breeds respond beautifully to Bowen Therapy — often relaxing deeply during and after sessions.

What is Canine Bowen Therapy?

Bowen Therapy is a gentle, hands-on technique that uses subtle rolling movements over key muscles and connective tissues. These movements help to:

  • Calm the nervous system
  • Release tension
  • Stimulate the body’s natural healing processes

Bowen supports a dog’s physical and emotional wellbeing without force or manipulation, making it ideal for dogs of all temperaments.

Benefits of Canine Bowen Therapy

Our dogs run, jump, twist, chase balls, herd animals, or simply try to keep up with us. Over time, this can lead to subtle imbalances or discomfort — even in dogs that appear “fine.”

Common reasons dogs benefit from Bowen Therapy include:

  • Joint stiffness and reduced mobility
  • Recovery after surgery or injury
  • Arthritis or age-related issues
  • Muscular strain from activity or work
  • Anxiety, restlessness, or behavioural changes
  • General wellness and preventative support
Ideal for All Types of Dogs

Bowen Therapy is safe and effective for dogs at every stage of life:

  • Senior dogs who need support for mobility and comfort
  • Agility and sport dogs for injury prevention and recovery
  • Working dogs needing to stay balanced and sound
  • Post-surgical or rehabilitating dogs needing gentle support
